Linden, Ind, March  16 – Isaac Whitecotton, 84, retired farmer, died Sunday morning at 3 o’clock at the family home, two and one-half miles southeast of here.  Mr. Whitecotton had been in ailing health two years, but seriously ill only a week.  He was born in Virginia in 1846.  His wife preceded him in death 30 years ago.  Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Perry at home; Mrs. Van Thompson and Mrs. Glenn Sparger of Linden: Warner of Evansville and Mrs. Bessie Sweeney of Crawfordsville.  The funeral will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence, with Rev. WH Zenor of Darlington officiating; burial in Linden cemetery. - kbz
